The 2-inch 850nm off-road infrared LED light pod is a compact and powerful vehicle light that provides increased visibility for night vision optics. The 850nm pod light is available with either a 10-degree spot beam pattern for long-range visibility or a 60-degree flood beam pattern for area lighting. An integrated DT connector allows for easy installation. Construction is durable die-cast aluminum housing with a polycarbonate lens. The IP69K and IP67 waterproof ratings allow permanent mounting on various vehicles, ATVs, and UTVs for off-road light applications. 850nm IR lights provide optimal illumination and operating range compared to 940nm. IR cameras and optics are most sensitive to the 850nm wavelength, which delivers optimal image quality. 850nm light is nearly visible to the human eye meaning 850nm light sources give off a faint visible red glow.
